I’m a data enthusiast with a passion for technology and teaching. My work focuses on innovation in data science pedagogy, with an emphasis on computing, student-centered learning, and open-source education.
I studied business administration with a focus on operations research, economic theory and quantitative marketing at the University of Tübingen. Afterwards, I received my doctoral degree from the University of Zurich (2010). During my doctoral studies, I attended quantitative methods and programming courses at the University of Zurich, London School of Economics and Political Science (GB) and the University of Michigan (USA).
Before joining HdM Stuttgart as a Professor, I gained over 10 years of professional experience in data science.
